Back in February this year, the Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga starts accepting applications for CET-BED 2020. The last date to submit the application was March 3, 2020 whereas the tentative date of Entrance Test was March 29, 2020. However, seeing the global pandemic in the state, the exam was postponed. Later, a date of July 19, 2020 was set for conducting this examination awaiting the approval of Supreme Court, but it was postponed by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development.
Now, the Lalit Narayan Mithila University (which is the nodal university to conduct this examination) has taken permission from the Supreme Court to conduct the same examination. Prof. Ajit Kumar Singh has reportedly confirmed the CET-BED 2020 examination is now scheduled to be conducted on September 22, 2020.
About conducting the examination, Prof. Singh already has written a letter to the different officials of state Government, so that they consider giving relief to the movement of students appearing for the same exam. Prof. Singh said, the examination centres have also been decided and now finally, we are going to conduct the examination by following the SoP issued by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development.
