In a bid to help consumers to generate their electricity bill on their own, NBPDCL has started self electricity billing service through Suvidha App.
From past few months the service was in trial and now has been made available to all the consumers.
Through Suvidha app consumers can generate a self bill in an interval of 35 days. The meter reader, on the other hand, can generate bills in an interval of 21 days, if a consumer has self generated the bill before 21 days.
Steps to self generate your NBPDCL electricity bill through Suvidha App?
In order to generate your NBPDCL electricity bill through Suvidha App, you have to first download and install the App from Google Play.
Next, Open the app and select the option marked in the screenshot below.
Next, Enter your Consumer ID and tap on the Proceed button. As soon as you tap on the proceed button, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number in order to confirm the consumer. Tap on the proceed button again and feed the required OTP.
After confirming the OTP, you have to enter your meter readings in KWh and KW and also have to attach the image of your KWh and KW readings. Do note that the KW reading you enter in the required box must be till two decimal points.
Once you complete entering all the details, tap on the Generate Bill button to generate your bill. Now, although the app said it takes 24 hours to generate the bill, it generates the same in minutes. You can then proceed with the payment.
