CNG Buses to start in b/w Muzaffarpur to Patna, Bettiah, and Sitamarhi

This Saturday, Bihar Chief Minister handed over 350 Ambulances to the beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Gram Parivahan Yojana and started 50 CNG buses for roads in Patna.

Earlier, the BSRTC administrator said Muzaffarpur to soon get CNG buses for different routes like Patna, Bettiah, and Sitamarhi. Now, BSRTC has reportedly talked with GAIL to make this happen soon. GAIL, on the other hand, has assured to build the CNG refueling stations at first in three cities i.e. Muzaffarpur, Rajgir, and Gaya till October this year.

In Muzaffarpur, GAIL is building a CNG station in Bela. The construction of the station is currently going on and is expected to be completed by October this year.

The administrator of BSRTC, Shyam Kishore has said, as soon as GAIL completes constructing the CNG refueling stations, the CNG bus service will start in between Patna, Muzaffarpur, Rajgir, and Gaya.

Considering the assurance given by GAIL, the CNG bus service might start in November or December this year.

Facilities Inside CNG Buses Running In Bihar

The 9 meters 31 seaters long CNG buses running in Bihar are equipped with GPS, CCTV camera, Public Announcement System, Electronic Information Display Board, Panic Button, and more.

Also, there are separate seats for Women, Physically Disabled Persons, Transgenders, and Senior Citizens.
