Khadi Mall Muzaffarpur

To promote the production of Khadi Clothes in the state, a Khadi Mall similar to the one that has recently been opened in Patna is also opening in Muzaffarpur and Purnia.

While meeting with the Industry Minister, Shahnawaz Hussain, this information has been revealed by the Food and Consumer Protection Minister, Leshi Singh.

The Minister said a Khadi Mall similar to Patna is going to open in Muzaffarpur and Purnia as well.

The estimated cost to build both of these malls will be around Rs. 16.11 crore.

In Purnia, the mall will be built in the land of Bihar State Khadi Village Industries Board situated near Lakhan Chowk of Bhatta Bazaar. The total built-up area of this three-floor mall will be 16800 sqft. On the first floor, the saree section, readymade garments, cloth ream section, and cash counter will be made. The second floor will contain the meeting room and godown whereas the third floor will contain three multipurpose halls.

In Muzaffarpur, the Khadi mall will also be built on the land of Bihar State Khadi Village Industries Board on Pakki Sarai Road near Zila School. The estimated cost to construct this mall is around Rs. 8.1151 crore. The mall will have two floors in a total area of 83807 sqft.

Bihar Industries Minister Shahnawaz Hussain has said, it is intended to open Khadi malls in every commissionerate of the state. Initially, the process has been started with two districts – Purnia and Muzaffarpur after Patna.
