In Yesterday’s meeting, two new plans were approved concerning Muzaffarpur.
- The Construction of a Digital Library.
- Creation of Intelligent Solid Waste Monitoring Project.
Let’s talk about both of these plans.
The Construction of Digital Library in Muzaffarpur
After becoming the chairman of the Smart City Board of Directors, In January last year, Mr. Kishor first revealed the construction of a digital library in Muzaffarpur.
In order to increase the ranking of Muzaffarpur Smart City, that time Mr. Kishor was told to open several projects.
Digital Library is one of those.
Now, In Yesterday’s meeting, it is decided to spend Rs. 59.91 lakh for the construction of a digital library in Muzaffarpur.
In addition to the digital library, officials also discussed the creation of the Intelligent Solid Waste Monitoring Project.
Let me explain you about it now.
Intelligent Solid Waste Monitoring Project
The Intelligent Solid Waste Monitoring Project has been introduced to monitor whether Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation (Muzaffarpur Nagar Nigam) regularly collects (and disposed) wastes from the city or not.
To do the same, a QR code will be placed on the walls of every house and office in the city.
The control room will monitor the Corporation’s vehicle using a GPS tag.
Through the GPS tag, the control room sees whether the corporation’s vehicles have visited the wards to collect waste or not.
