Bihar Board Inter Subject Pattern changes for academic session 2019-21. Officials have initiated two main changes. The first one is the introduction of Language 1 and Language 2 subject. However, the second one is the introduction of an additional 6th subject.

BSEB officials replaces the NRB-A Hindi and MB-Hindi with two language subject which is Lang-1 and Lang-2. In the Language 1 subject, you can choose either Hindi or English. However, In the Language 2 subject, you can choose one subject from a total of 12 language subject. These 12 language subjects are Hindi, English, Urdu, Maithili, Sanskrit, Prakrit, Magahi, Bhojpuri, Arabi, Persian, Pali and Bangla. The condition is Language 2 subject must be different from Language 1 subject. Moreover, Both of these language papers i.e. Lang-1 and Lang-2 are of 50 marks each.

Now, Talking about the additional 6th subject, it helps students to pass the board exam easily. Right now, One have to appear and pass in a total of 5 subjects for Bihar board Inter exam. In these 5 subjects, two are the language subjects the we talk about above. However, the other three are main subjects. Now, with the additional of this 6th extra subject, if a candidate fails in any one 5 subject, this 6th subject will then be considered in place of it. Therefore, will help a student to clear the board exam.

Now, One can choose any other subject as the 6th subject but must be different from the 5 subjects he/she already chooses. One can even take a language subject as the 6th additional subject.

According to BSEB official, the introduction of this new additional 6th subject will increase the pass percentage of students in Inter Board exam.

This new pattern is already applied for academic session 2019-21. Therefore, Choose your subject wisely and score great in the upcoming exam.
