On Completion of Hundred years of Champaran Satyagraha, the Minister of Arts, Culture, and Youth Department, Mangal Pandey said, Bihar will soon have three Grand Auditoriums located in three different Districts – Motihari, Betia, and Muzaffarpur.

The Minister said, In the first phase, we have approved Rs 41.86 crore fund to the Building Construction department to build a Grand Auditorium at first in Muzaffarpur.

Talking about the specification of the Auditorium, it will have an Audio-Visual Room, Art Gallery, Two Green Rooms (both for women and men artists), VIP lounges, Digi Sets, and Convention Center.

For now, no details have been shared about the exact place in the respective districts where these auditoriums are to be constructed. However, it has been said, the target to complete the construction of Muzaffarpur Grand Auditorium is by year 2022.

Well, those of you who are native to Muzaffarpur might know that the city already has an Auditorium – Amrapali Auditorium in Mithanpura. Earlier it was said, the Amrapali Auditorium will be broken to build a mall there but later the officials cancelled the plan to renovate it.

So, with this new Grand Auditorium in Muzaffarpur, the city has two Government Running Auditoriums.

The Minister said, the main aim to build these auditoriums is to ease the development of art related activities in the state.
