While the whole country is in lockdown till May 3, the state governments bring a way to give some people associated with the essential services (like medical, groceries, media, etc) the permission to visit outside via an ePass. There are different types of ePass one can generate and get from Subdivision Officer or District Magistrate.
In this article, I am gonna explaining you, How to get an ePass in Bihar for different purposes to visit outside during the lockdown. However, do note that ePass is made available only to those who have a valid and solid pupose to visit outside.
To whom you will have to apply to get an ePass?
First and the foremost, do note that to get an ePass you have to apply for it online to the respective officials. In turn, they also provide you the ePass via the online medium.
Now, If you want to make an ePass for official or business purpose within the same district, then you have to apply to the subdivision officer. Apart from this, if you want to make an inter-district or inter-state ePass for official or business purpose, then you have to apply to the District Magistrate. To make an ePass for Inter-District or Inter-State Personal purpose, you also have to apply to the District Magistrate.
Note: To create an Inter-State ePass, the initial ePass will be issued first and the applicant will have to go to the District Control Room with the prescribed form available on the portal where the final ePass will be issued after conducting medical examination.
How to apply for an ePass in Bihar amid Lockdown? (Steps)
First visit the visit located at the address service.bihar.gov.in and at the top left of the portal click on the link mentioned below in the screenshot.
Once you click on the mentioned link a form opens which you have to fill up carefull with the details asked. Then, Click on the submit button.
After that a preview window of your filled application will open. Here you can review whether all details is filled correctly or not. If all details are filled correctly then click on the attack annexure button else click on the edit button.
Once you click on the Attach Annexure button, the Attach Enclousures form will open where you have attach your scanned identity details. Once done click on the save annexure button and again you see a preview window.
Now, once you again click on the submit button, you will get an acknowledgement for your application and the final confirmation will be made available to you via the SMS or the email you mentioned while filling the application form.
