Three Days ago, we reported Muzaffarpur SKMCH may get approval to test COVID-19 samples in their VSDL lab located in the same campus. Now, reports are coming Muzaffarpur SKMCH has got approval from ICMR to test COVID-19 samples.
This Sunday (I mean Yesterday) in a review meeting with Senior Health Officials of the state, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself revealed, the Indian Council of Medical Research has given Muzaffarpur SKMCH the approval to test COVID-19 samples. And, the hospital will soon going to start testing the COVID-19 samples.
Do note that, to get approval to test COVID-19 samples in the hospital’s VSDL Lab, both the hospital Principal as well as the city DM (Dr. Chandra Shekhar Singh) wrote a letter to ICMR Director. Seems like their effort now has turned green.
As we already wrote in the earlier post, however, for those who haven’t read the same post, let me tell you, SKMCH VRDL Lab is capable of testing COVID-19 samples became it has Biosafety Level 2 approval.
Now, Soon suspected COVID-19 samples testing gonna start in SKMCH and that gives relief to the North Bihar because that increases the rate of sample testing and North Bihar gets sample reports in just a day.
