Back in March this year, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare joined their hands with Common Service Centres (CSCs) to remotely provide free medical consultations to citizens in rural and remote areas via an App called E-Sanjeevani.
The E-Sanjeevani app is developed by C-DAC. The app provides free video consultations with nearby doctors. Patients can register themselves to get e-Prescriptions.
The initiative is jointly managed by the State as well as the Central Government.
Muzaffarpur people are currently getting free medical consultation by doctors of Sadar Hospital via E-Sanjeevani App. Right now, Patients consult doctors on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. But, C.S. Dr. Sharma said, now patients can consult doctors even on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. So, if we count in total, Muzaffarpur people can now get free medical consultation 6 days a week via E-Sanjeevani App.
Currently, Dr. C.K. Das is monitoring the app services in Muzaffarpur. Patients, on the other hand, are availing the app benefits between 9 am to 2 pm.
How To Get Free Medical Consultation Online In Muzaffarpur?
One can avail of free medical consultation online in Muzaffarpur via E-Sanjeevani App. Here is how.
- First download the app from Google Playstore.
- Login to the app using your mobile number.
- Verify your mobile number via the OTP received.
- Fill out the patient registration form.
- You will then get the Patient ID (aka Token).
- Use the token to consult with the doctor.
- Upload your health record if any.
- Once the app assigns the doctor, tap on the Call Now button within 120 seconds to consult the doctor.
- The doctor will then see the patient health record if any and then provides an electronic prescription.
- The app sends a link to download the e-Prescription.
