During the 96th foundation day celebration at Government Ayurveda College, Patna, the Special Secretary of Health Department, Arvinder Singh revealed, the Bihar Government is deciding to open 3 new Ayurvedic colleges (one each) in Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, and Begusarai.
The secretary said the state health minister has approved the project and the construction process will start as soon as the Chief Minister will also approve it. It may take to 3-4 years to complete constructing these 3 colleges.
Nursery of medicinal plants will be built in the parks of Patna
The Principal Secretary of Bihar Forest Department, Deepak Kumar Singh was also present at the celebration and he revealed this year, we are going to set up nurseries of medicinal plants at 5-8 parks in Patna. Before setting up the nurseries, we will first survey the medicinal plants found in Bihar.
Mr. Singh said, by reading newspapers, magazines, and articles, people are now using medicinal plants to gain their benefits. However, there isn’t any regulatory body that documents the information and promotes research about these plants.
To fill the same, we are setting up medicinal plants nurseries in select parks in Patna.
Bihar will soon appoint 7000 Ayush doctors
As per a report from jagran.com, Bihar is soon going to recruit 7000 Ayush doctors in the state. The Bihar Technical Service Commission will soon release a notification regarding the same.
