Maner sharif the tourist place of Patna |
Maner Sharif is 12 kms away from Patna Bihta railway station. It was settled on the banks of the Son river and the Ganges river. Maner is a small settlement today. Laddu is very popular here. Maner Sharif was a very ancient center of Bihar’s Muslim culture. Sufi saints used to come here from whole of India. At this time there are two dargahs in Maner, big dargah and small dargah. Here is the grave of the great Sufi Saint Hazrat Makhdoom Yahia. Makhdum died in 1291 AD. These were the sons of Hazrat Taj Fakir.
It is the mazar of Tajuddin Shahd in the eyes of the big dargah, it was the nephew of Mahmud Janki. The dargah of the northern gate is Pay Singh Shardul. The lion is holding an elephant with four claws. Sultan Sikandar Lodi came here to settle the dargah at any time.
In the small dargah, Shah is the tomb of wealth. These were from the family of Hazrat Shah Yahiya,
Maner Sharif dargah is made of Chunar beautiful stone. There is a garden in Chauraha and Beach. There is a cave here which has been closed now. According to the people many people went to this cave and did not come back.
There is a pond next to the dargah. The water first came from the tunnel. The tunnel was connected to the banks of the river Ganges and river. According to the people, there were water reservoirs in this lake. Ibrahim Khan, the son of Mirza Gaos, built this shrine. This was a disciple of Makhdoom Shahab. His death was fighting with Sajjad Khurram. They were much faster than the moon and the sun, and in it were all the qualities and miracles of the Prophet.
From the small tariff, there is the tomb of Makhdoom Shah Baran Maharululam in the west. These were the peers of Sher Shah Suri. There is the grave of Hazrat Momin Arif near the Dhanjur Mosque or near the tomb of Tanjore Khan of the Veda Khan. Hazrat Taj Fakir Shahab had rested the same after defeating the King of Maner. According to the people, Hazrat Makhdoom was born in the hall of Yahiya King. In the same post, there was a slap on Katha which used to worship the mother of Makhdoom Sharfuddin.
Today, the dargah of Maner Sharif has become a tourist destination of the Bihar government. Bihar government is trying to make it better.
