Bihar Board Class 10th 2020 Exam result analysis

This year Out of 16.6 Lakh candidates appeared for the exam in which 80.59 percent (i.e. 13.2 Lakh) of them have passed the examination successfully. Bifurcating the pass percentage of boys and girls, This year boys performs slightly better than girls with 6,83,990 passed candidates are boys whereas 6,36,046 passed candidates are girls. Himanshu Raj has topped this year Bihar Board Class 10th exam with 96.20 percent ( i.e. 481 marks). The second position is occupied by Durgesh Kumar getting 480 marks i.e. 96 percent.

This year, the exam result was quite late (in compare to last year) due to global pandemic COVID-19 outbreak in our country. If that was not the case then, the result might be declared earlier in the month of April. The Class 12th 2020 board result has already been declared on March 24, before the lockdown begins that’s because their answer sheets were checked at first. However, as soon as, the Class 10th answer sheets were checked, the lockdown started. That’s the main reason of Class 10th 2020 exam result delay.

Coming to the process of checking the result online or via SMS, I already have written articles about the same. You can refer to those article to know the exact steps.
