In this article, I have explained, How one can order Muzaffarpur Shahi Litchi and Bhagalpur Zardalu Mango Online. Bihar Horticulture department in collaboration with Indian Post Office is going to home delivering Muzaffarpur Shahi Litchi and Bhagalpur Zardalu Mango to the consumers of urban areas of Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur and Patna.
On one side where Shahi Litchi can only be home delivered to the consumers of urban areas of Muzaffarpur and Patna, while on the other side, Zardalu Mango will only be delivered to the consumers of urban areas of Bhagalpur and Patna. Do note that, Both the Muzaffarpur Shahi Litchi and Bhagalpur Zardalu Mango has got the GI tag.
Once the consumer order these fruits online, then after reaching consumer’s house the amount should be paid via any of the two method i.e. POS or Cash. That means for both of these items Cash on Delivery method is available.
Both of these items are supplied in the limited pack. For example, The Shahi Litchi is supplied in the pack of 2 kg that costs Rs. 200 whereas the Zardalu Mango is supplied in the pack of 5 kg that costs Rs. 350. The delivery of Shahi Litchi will be made available in between May 25 to June 15, whereas, The delivery of Zardalu Mango to be made available in between June 1 to June 20.
How to Order Muzaffarpur Shahi Litchi and Bhagalpur Zardalu Mango Online? Steps
Consumers buying any of these two products, first have to visit this link.
Then, the consumer have to register himself in the portal by clicking on the Register button as I have shown in the screenshot below.
Once you click on the register button a new registration panel will open where you have to register yourself by entering the details asked. Once done, you will then order the product in the amount you like and there you get your Order Number that helps you to track your order via this link.
At the time of writing this article, more than 900 buyers already registered in the portal. However, the delivery starts from May 25 and will last till June 20.
Although it is a nice initiative by Bihar Government, But the site lacks so many options now users are complaining about. For example, In case a user forgot the Order ID, How he can track the order? Also, the Order ID is not getting delivered in the email and Mobile Number given by the user to the portal.
The Order has also been delayed. Now, the site is showing due to ripening of fruits the delivery may get delayed by 2 to 3 days.
I ordered 2 kgs of Shahi litchi on 28.05.020. I do not remember my order number. So, unable to track my order. My mbl no is 9334205005. Kindly confirm my order no on my mail ID or message me the same.Thanks.
Is Jardalu Aam Available Online?
In collaboration with the Indian Post Office, Last year, the Bihar Horticulture Department started an initiative to deliver Shahi Litchi and Bhagalpur Famous Jardalu Aam online to the people of Bihar.
However, the service has been discontinued this year.
