On September 21, 2020, PM Modi is going to lay the foundation stone of some transportation projects in Bihar. These Transportation projects, on the other hand, are either the construction of bridges or the Road. All these projects are built by keeping one thing in mind, to reach the state capital “Patna” from any corner of the state in just 5 hours by road. So, without a further ado let’s take a look at all these projects.
Let’s talk about the major one first whose cost of construction is comparatively higher than other projects. I’m talking about a parallel four lane bridge to the Mahatma Gandhi Setu bridge in Patna. Tomorrow, PM Modi is going to lay the foundation stone of this 14.5 km long bridge whose worth is estimated to be Rs 2926.42 crore. This bridge will join the existing NH-19.
The next project is the widening of the existing 49 km long Narenpur-Purnia NH-131A to make it a four lane road. The estimated worth to complete this project is Rs 2288 crore.
Tomorrow, PM Modi is also going to lay the foundation stone of 28.93 km long four lane bridge on NH-106 over the Kosi River. The estimated worth to build this project is Rs 1478.40 crore.
The Four lane widening of 47.23 km long Bakhtiyarpur-Rajauli road of NH-31 in two packages. The estimated worth to complete this project is Rs 1149.55 crore.
A 4.555 km long four lane bridge over the Ganga River and parallel to the Vikramshila Setu. The estimated worth to build this project is Rs 1110.23 crore.
The six lane widening of the 39 km long Ramnagar-Kanhauli road of NH-131G Patna Ring road. The estimated worth to complete this project is Rs 913.5 crore.
The Four lane widening of 60.80 km pararia-mohania road of NH-30. The estimated worth to complete this project is Rs 855.93 crore.
The last one is also a four lane widening project of 54.53 km long Ara-Pararia road of NH-30. The estimated cost to construct this is Rs 885.41 crore.
