Back in 1976, sisters from Holy Cross Switzerland established a hospital in Muzaffarpur to cure Snake Bites. The Hospital is popularly known by the name “Prabhat Tara Snake Hospital”. As per the hospital authority, In normal days, the hospital treats around 25 to 30 patients a day, however, in summer and monsoon the hospital treats 40-50 patients per day. Every year, the hospital treats around 11 thousand patients.

As per a report, if the government provides the Anti Venom Injections to the hospital authority then that would be truly beneficial for the patients who come for treatment.
