Darbhanga's planetarium will be ready by June next year

Currently, Patna is the only district in Bihar that has a planetarium. However, a planetarium is going to be ready soon in Darbhanga too.

It is being constructed on the grounds of Polytechnic College, Darbhanga. At the same time, it is targeted to complete its construction by June next year.

Due to the construction of the planetarium in Darbhanga, on the one hand, where people will come here to collect information related to the stars, on the other hand, Darbhanga district will earn a lot from it. Restaurants and other essential shops are being constructed in the planetarium’s premises.

After the construction of the planetarium in Darbhanga, most people of Muzaffarpur, Madhubani, Jayanagar, Samastipur, Purnia, Saharsa and many other districts who earlier visited Patna to see the planetarium will now visit Darbhanga.

The Darbhanga Planetarium cum Science Museum is being constructed at a cost of Rs 73,73,66,000. It is targeted to complete its construction by June next year. Although, the ongoing pandemic slows down its construction, but the construction authority promises to complete it on the earlier given time i.e. June 2021.
