3.5 Lakh Bihar Government Employee Took Oath Not To Drink Alcohol

To create awareness about the prohibition of liquor in the state, a statewide oath program was organized today on De-addiction Day. In the event, government employees and officers from headquarters to district block and panchayat level took an oath not to drink alcohol.

The main program started from Gyan Bhawan where Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister, and other ministers of the government were present. Live webcasting of the main event was done in all government offices.

Today at 11 o’clock, about 3.5 lakh state employees took an oath not to drink alcohol by participating in this program from their respective offices.

50 state workers were rewarded

In the main function, 25-25 personnel of Liquor Prohibition and Police Department, who did better work in the field of Liquor Prohibition, were also rewarded. They were given a mobile and laptop as a reward.

DMs and SPs, who have implemented liquor ban in a better way in their respective districts, were also rewarded.
