The Vice-Chancellor of Nalanda University, Sunaina Singh, has reportedly said 90% of administrative and academic block work is complete. We are planning to invite PM Modi to inaugurate the new campus.

Those of you who don’t know, Nalanda University is spread across 455 acres, out of which, in 100 acres, Water Bodies are present.

In 2014, Nalanda University started its Academic Program with just two schools having 12 students. Now, the University has 6 schools in which 250 seats are reserved for regular courses, whereas 700-1000 seats are for certificate and diploma courses.

The University has recently introduced the Global Master Program in Hindu Studies (Sanatana). Students want to enroll in this new course not only from India but also abroad. It is a two-year full-time residential course and is the first one in India. The admission is still going on in this course. It is a global course; hence students from the US, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and others are enrolled.

The construction of the new campus was started back in 2017 and took four years to complete.

Several notable personalities have visited the University in the eight-year journey, including former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Pranab Mukherjee, President Ram Nath Kovind, and others.
