Amid fear of Coronavirus Outbreak in the State, Today, Bihar Health Department has released a notification in which they have ordered officials to shut down all Shopping Malls, Gyms, SPA, and Swimming Pools in the State till 31st March 2020.
Bihar Health Department has released this notification under powers conferred by the Bihar Epidemic Diseases, COVID-19, Regulations 2020, under the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897. In the same announcement, it is also mentioned they are taking this decision to control the outbreak of epidemic disease, namely COVID-19, in the State.
The notification also says any gathering, including family mass gathering (except marriages), is restricted to a maximum of 50 persons in the State of Bihar till 31st March 2020.
Besides that, All major shops, restaurants in the State should be disinfected daily and should have hand sanitizers at the main entrance.
The notification also asks all private Hospitals to report a suspected COVID-19 patient to a civil surgeon of the district within 3 hours of examination.
