Bihar Education Department is going to open its offices from April 20

Yesterday, Bihar Education Department released an order about opening all their directorates and offices from April 20. The order mentioned all senior officials of the department to report to the offices every day, whereas the junior and contractual staff to report on a given day.

As per the order, the Junior and Contractual Staff combined to form three groups. And each of these three groups has to report to the offices on given days. For example, One Group is going to report to the office between April 20-23, another one in between April 24 to 28, and the last one between April 29 to May 3. Although yesterday’s order mentioned reporting to the offices on given days, today, Bihar Education Department releases a correction order indicating the closure of offices on all Sundays and Gazetted Holidays falls between April 20 to May 3.

Yesterday’s order also mentioned everyone to follow the standard operating procedure for social distancing.

When will the Schools and Colleges open?

Although Bihar Education Department decided to open their offices from April 20, the opening of Schools and Colleges is still not settled. Do note the state government has already promoted all students from Class 1 to 11th. The department has conducted this year’s Class 10th and 12th board exams and has announced the Class 12th board exam result before the lockdown. Class 10th board exam result is not published yet as the evaluation of some copies is remaining that is expected to be completed once lockdown ends. Therefore, One can expect Class 10th board exam result after Lockdown end, which means in May.
