5 Special Trains to run for Bihar from May 12

From May 12, Indian Railways is going to start the operation of trains for 15 cities in India amid lockdown. A total of 30 pair of trains (including both the up and down trip) going to run everyday. The Online Ticket Booking for these trains already started on IRCTC website. Also, do note that the online medium is the only way to get ticket for these trains. That means one can’t get the ticket for these trains from the Ticket Booking counters at railway stations as they are completely closed.

Out of these 30 pair of special trains, Indian Railways has alloted 5 trains for Bihar. Out of these 5 Trains, 3 of them are going to run for Patna while 2 of them runs for Gaya.

Do note that these trains will only have the AC Coaches with limited stoppages. Also, it is mandatory for all passengers to wear face masks and they must arrive at station one hour before the departure of the trains as the screening process will take some time.

Passengers booking ticket for these trains note that Only confirmed ticket passenger will be able to travel via these trains as no Tatkal, Premium Tatkal and Current Booking tickets are available.

Also, Passengers travelling via these trains have to bring their own food, drink and blanket from home as these items will not be provided in the train.
