An automatic vending machine selling masks and sanitizers has been installed at Patna Junction on behalf of Railways. Travelers will be able to purchase masks and sanitizers from this vending machine. Patna Junction has become the first station in the country to install automatic vending machines selling masks and sanitizers. Now soon this machine will be installed at other major stations on behalf of Danapur Railway Division. Passengers can now buy N-95 masks and sanitizers of 50 and 100 mL for their journey by feeding money into this machine.
Junction director Dr. Nilesh Kumar informed that the machine has been installed at the initiative of DRM Danapur. This will greatly benefit the passengers. It is mounted near the main entrance on Platform No. 1. After putting the prescribed money in it, people will be able to purchase masks and sanitizers from it. Many railway passengers have already taken advantage of this after the installation of the machine.
CTI Shiv Kalyan told that the price of N95 mask for the passengers is Rs. 80 and Rs. 100 while the price of sanitizer is Rs. 50 and Rs. 100 respectively.
