BPSC preparing to conduct Civil Services Exam Interview Online

The Bihar Public Service Commission today has released the revised exam date for 65th Bihar Civil Service Main Exam. The exam is now going to be conducted on August 4, 5, and 7 this year. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be conducted on July 25, 26, and 28. However, due to a global pandemic outbreak in the country, the exam was postponed.

Back on March 6, 2020, the prelims exam was conducted in which more 2 lakh candidates appeared for the exam; however, only 6517 candidates qualified the exam. Now, these qualified candidates have already completed the registration process for the main exam until May 4 and now waiting to give the main exam papers.

The BPSC Main written exam has three subjects in which two subjects is compulsory. The Hindi Paper carries 100 marks, and Two General Studies paper carries 300 marks each. The one optional paper of 300 marks a candidate can choose from a list of 34 subjects.

BPSC also release the 31st Bihar Judicial Services Prelims Exam Date

Besides releasing the revised date of Bihar Civil Services main exam, the commission has also released the date of 31st Bihar Judicial Services prelims exam that is going to be conducted on August 9, 2020. The commission has already accepted the application to fill 221 vacant seats of Civil Judge (Junior Grade) via Judicial Services exam till June 3.

The Judicial Services Prelims exam is held for two papers – General Knowledge, and Law. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam then will be called for the main exam followed by an interview.
