In a bid to reduce the travel time via trains in between Patna-Delhi route, Indian Railways has increased the speed limit of 9 trains on Jhajha-Patna-Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction mainline route.
Earlier on this route these 9 trains ran at 110 km/h but now after the increase in speed limit, now these trains can run at 130 km/h.
These 9 trains consist of both the mail and express trains.

In addition to increasing the speed limit of 9 trains on Jhajha-Patna-Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction route, the Indian Railways has also increased the speed limit of trains in the below mentioned routes.

The Indian Railways is increasing the speed limit of these trains to reduce the travel time via trains in between Howrah-Patna-Delhi route by 30 to 40 minutes.
