After becoming the Chairman of the Smart City Board of Directors, the Principal Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Department, Anand Kishore for the first time reviewed what has been done so far in Patna, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, and Bihar Sharif to make them Smart City.
IAS Anand has set a goal to complete 70% of the smart city works by the end of two months from now and has targeted to complete 100% of the work in the coming four months.
He has setted a goal to uprank the current position of Muzaffarpur (which is 94) in the top 50 smart cities in India. For the same he told the officials to build Multi Level Car Parking in the city.
Here is the list of things IAS Anand has said to the officials to build in Muzaffarpur to make the city placed in Top 50 Smart Cities in India.

- Shop Mart
- Public Bicycle Sharing Service
- Modernization of Bairiya Bus Stand
- Making all the square Intersections Smart
- Constructing an Integrated Control and Command Centre Building
- Digital Library
- Modular Bio-Toilets
All these works are said to be completed by the end of six months from now. Let’s see whether this will be done in time (as said) or not.
