The daily Internet data consumption in Muzaffarpur doubled after lockdown. Before lockdown Muzaffarpur consumes 150TB of daily Internet data, however after lockdown the daily Internet data consumption in the city rises to 300TB.
In the past 15 days, around 1000 new people have taken the broadband connection in the city. Out of these 1000 people, 500 of them have taken the Internet connection from the state owned BSNL, the remaining of them are from JioFiber, Airtel, and other Internet service providers.
On one hand, where the Internet is most used from 2 pm to 9 pm, on the other hand, Internet data is consumed the most on Saturdays and Sundays in the whole week.
The second wave of the global pandemic has put the city to be in lockdown again. Now, because almost all people in the city are at home, the demand for Internet connection steeply increases in the city.
