The Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation has allowed Jio Fiber to lay down its cable in 5.25 km of urban area in Muzaffarpur.
In lieu of this, the Municipal Corporation has deposited more than 3.40 lakh rupees from the company.
Now that the company has got permission from the Municipal Corporation, it will soon start laying the cable in the below mentioned area in the city.

Some councilors have expressed their displeasure
While the municipal corporation has given permission to the company to lay the cable, some councilors have expressed resentment over it.
Councilor Ajay Ojha has complained to the city commissioner that the company is arbitrarily installing the cable and its control box that is troubling the public.
However, on this matter, the Municipal Commissioner has given an assurance that if the public face any problem in the process of laying the cable, then the company will be made to pay.
