The Bihar School Examination Board begins the admission of students for Class 11th from June 19 to June 28.
The board has already announced the result of the Class 10th 2021 examination on April 5, 2021, and since then, students who passed the same examination are waiting to take admission in Class 11th.
Due to the current pandemic, the board was bound to extend the admission process.
However, with Unlock 2, the board has announced to admit students for class 11th in the schools and colleges of the state from June 19.
More recently, the board has asked all the schools and colleges of the state for class 11 seat details and asked them to submit these details online on the OFSS portal by June 13.
The Schools and Colleges in the state has successfully submited the number of seats they have in Class 11th.
Admission of students in Class 11th of the schools and colleges of the state will be done through the online portal OFSS. OFSS stands for Online Facilitation System for Students.
To take admission in Class 11th, the students first have to apply on the OFSS portal. After that, they have to register on the portal.
At the time of applying, students can choose a total of 10 schools or colleges of their choice. However, the allotment of schools and colleges will be done based on merit.
Students can apply in the online Common Application Form (CAF) available on www.ofssbihar.in. The application fee for submitting the online admission is Rs. 350.
The board then declares the list of students as well as the colleges and schools they can take admission into.
If any student doesn’t find his name in the first list, then there is nothing to worry about because two more lists are remaining.
If the name of any student doesn’t appear in all three lists, then students can apply again and this time, fill in the name of 10 new colleges. Apart from this, schools and colleges also take on-spot admission later.
