Auto Rickshaw Stand Muzaffarpur

Two new auto rickshaw stands will be constructed at Zero Mile Chowk in Muzaffarpur city.

This will connect the city to major districts of North Bihar including Darbhanga and Sitamarhi.

The Auto Rickshaw stands will be built on land owned by the Road Construction Department near the Zero Mile Market Committee and Sudha Milk Parlor.

Both stands are set to open on March 20th.

Each stand will receive an endowment of Rs 15 lakh for one year.

The settlement will take place in the divisional office of the Road Construction Department.

Currently, there is heavy traffic congestion at Zero Mile Chowk due to the lack of an auto-rickshaw stand.

Doctors at SKMCH had requested that the district administration take action to alleviate this issue.

After several meetings chaired by SDM East Gyan Prakash, two locations were identified for the construction of auto rickshaw stands at the Chowk.

RCD’s Executive Engineer Anjani Kumar stated that due to the lack of a stand, autos, and e-rickshaws were forced to park around the square.
