The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Bihar increases day by day, and it has been seen that people are visiting outside without wearing a mask. This way, they not just put themselves in danger but also to the others. So, In this light, Under Epidemic Diseases, COVID-19 Regulations 2020, the Bihar government has made wearing Face mask compulsory for everyone visiting outside. Those who found disobeying the same order will be punished.
In a notice posted on 23-04-2020, The Principal Secretary of Bihar Health Department said, from now on, anyone visiting outside has to wear a face mask. That is also applicable to fruit and vegetable owners, cleaning workers, Grocery store owners, Medical Shop owners, and everyone.
The same notice also mentioned everyone doesn’t need to wear an N-95 mask as it mandatory only for health officials treating COVID-19 patients. Ordinary people, on the other hand, can wear homemade doubled layered cloth masks, and that is sufficient for now, but make sure to clean it regularly.
Do note that, Yesterday, Bihar crosses the mark of 150 positive COVID-19 cases in the state, and it has been seen that this week the number of cases has increased. Looking at all these data and to keep everyone safe from this global epidemic, the Bihar government has taken this decision.
