This Wednesday, while addressing the media after the review meeting in Darbhanga Super Speciality Hospital, Central Minister, Shri Ashwini Choubey said, PM Modi, is going to lay the foundation of Darbhanga AIIMS in April next year.
The Foundation stone will be laid on the identified land of Darbhanga Medical College. The buildings of the different department of DMCH has been ordered to be shifted till February and March next year.
The minister also said the OPD’s of the three departments (Neurology, Neuro Surgery, and Cardiology) of Darbhanga super-specialty hospital is going to start in the next 15 days. Most work is completed however, still, two out of five floors are remaining to be constructed. The Minister has ordered the officials to complete the remaining work as soon as possible.
The Super Speciality Hospital in Darbhanga is going to have 8 departments. The construction work of all these 8 departments has been ordered to be complete and become operational in the next three months.
In the program organized by the Food Corporation of India in the DMC auditorium under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi, he said that the country is progressing continuously under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Below are the important announcements that the Minister make at the program:
- The PM is serious about getting Mithila free from the floods. A high-level dam will soon be built in Mithila and currently, we are waiting for the commission report.
- We will soon construct state-of-the-art shells in Darbhanga that can store one lakh metric tonnes of wheat. We have recently approved to construct shallows in Buxar and Kaimur that can store 123 and a half thousand metric tonnes of rice. For rice storage, Prime Minister Modi has selected Bihar as a pilot state in the country.
- Adarsh Nagar Van Yojana will start in Darbhanga: To incur the need for oxygen in the state, Darbhanga is also chosen as the state to get benefit from Adarsh Nagar Van Yojana.
- PAN and Makhan will remain to be of Mithila: Makhana produced in Bihar has recently been submitted to get the GI Tag. However, the application submitted contains the name Bihar Makhana. Seeing the same, people from Mithila protested to change the name to Mithila Makhana as most Makhana produced in Bihar are from the Mithila region. Shri Ashwini Choubey said PAN and Makhan will always be of Mithila.
