Nota Ranks 3rd in Bihar in lok sabha election 2019

This Friday, In Patna, Election Commission of India organized a meeting with different political parties in Bihar. In this meeting, most political parties agreed upon conducting the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections in one or two-phase.

On behalf of NDA, on the one hand, JDU and BJP propose to complete the assembly elections in one phase, while on the other hand, RJD demands to limit the digital campaigning. RJD says Digital campaigning is an expensive way to publicize, and all political parties are not capable of affording it.

He said the election commission must allow candidates for door-to-door campaigning, and for top leaders, whatever guidelines the election commission decides will be accepted. However, we strongly oppose the digital way to publicize for the elections.

From this meeting, it seems that this time the election will be completed at its scheduled time. However, about campaigning, the election commission to soon find out a consent way.

The election commission says this time the number of polling booths is increased by thirty thousand looking at the global pandemic outbreak in the state.
