In a bid to give Muzaffarpur Citizens some relief, the SDO Eastern, Dr. Kundan Kumar has freed 12 Muzaffarpur areas from the Containment Zones. It has been said, no cases were found after 14 days from the last case of these areas. Below I have listed these 12 areas that belongs to Muzaffarpur and are now out of the Containment Zone.

Now, although 12 urban areas in Muzaffarpur are freed from the containment zones, 8 new containment zones have been declared in the rural areas and here is the list of these 8 new containment zones in the rural areas of Muzaffarpur.

- Majholia of Sakra Block
- Koriya Nizamat of Paru Block
- Rampur Ugan of Motipur Block

Status of COVID-19 Cases in Muzaffarpur
The COVID-19 cases in Muzaffarpur is rising day by day. Yesterday, the city reports 82 new cases, however, one patient was died in course of treatment. Right now, the infected are treated at three places in Muzaffarpur and these three places are SKMCH, SDJM College, Turkey, and Glocal Hospital. Now, although, the city reports 82 new case, 149 patients were recovered from this disease, reported yesterday. So far, Muzaffarpur have 2852 COVID-19 patients but 1952 of them are now recovered.
