The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission has again postponed the Bihar SI Main Exam 2020. The exam was postponed one more time Back in March.
Those of you who don’t know, In March also this exam was postponed which was to be conducted on April 26. Later, The BPSSC scheduled to conduct this exam on August 23, 2020 but today via a notification (BPSSC Advt. No. 01/2019) the commission informed to again postpone this exam for an uncertain date for now. Yes, you heard it right, for now it is not known when this exam is going to conducted again.
Number of Seats for which the Exam is conducted
BPSSC is conducting this examination to fill a total of 2402 posts of Police Sub Inspector (2064), Sergeant (215), and Assistant Superintendent Jail (125).
Right now, there is a non-aggressive lockdown active in Bihar till August 15 and we have no idea What government going to plan after August 15 noting rising figure of COVID-19 in the state. But it looks like, this month also, the Bihar Government is not in a mood to conduct any offline examination in the state.
Bihar SI Main Exam 2020 Paper Format
The Bihar Police SI main exam is of two papers, the first one is of General Hindi that contains 200 marks. The second one contains questions from different subjects like General Science, Political Science, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics and so on. Each paper of the Main exam is of 2 hours and contains 100 questions of 200 Marks. For every wrong answer 0.2 negative marks is added.
