In a bid to connect the 8 North and South District of the state, Bihar to soon build its first Expressway. This 271 Km Four-Lane expressway is said to primarily connect Aurangabad, Jehanabad, Vaishali, Samastipur, Darbhanga, and Jaynagar. However, in addition it also connects with two more districts i.e. Patna and Madhubani. Hence, once built, this expressway will connect a total of 8 districts ranging from North to South Bihar.
Reportedly officials calling this expressway the North-South Bihar Corridor and in addition to the above 8 districts, this expressway will also ease the transportation of Goods in between Bihar and Nepal.
The Land Acquisition committee of the National Highway Authority of India has already approved this expressway and as soon as they issue a notification about the same, the land acquisition work will be started.
Aurangabad-Jaynagar Expressway will be quite useful for Bihar and as soon as we receive a notification about the same, we will start the land acquisition process.

Bihar First Expressway Stoppages in between Aurangabad and Jaynagar
Starting from Madanpur in Aurangabad and ends at Jaynagar, this North-South Bihar corridor is said to connect the Grand Trunk road via Gaya Airport. It also passes the borders of Jehanabad and Nalanda to the Kachchi Dargah in Patna. Thereafter it passes the six-lane bridge in Bidupur, then, will reach Chaksikandar and after taking east turn of Mahua it will reach Tajpur. From Tajpur it will reach Darbhanga Airport and then from there its last destination Jaynagar.
80 Percent Green Field
The First Expressway of Bihar that is going to connect Aurangabad and Jaynagar is said to have 80 Percent Green Field. Green Field means, 80 Percent of this corridor is going to have the new road. Built under the Bharatmala Scheme, the committee has currently approved this road in between Aurangabad and Darbhanga, however, the proposal from Darbhanga to Jaynagar will be considered in the next meeting. NHAI is going to construct this road and it is expected NHAI to soon release a notification about the same soon.
When will construction start? When will it complete? It seems like a election stunt.

This road more beneficial. For Bihar if passes through. Deo more nh 2 , Goh, Kinjer , then after. Straight line. Connect. Bihata. Samrera. Sh 78. Near 10 km south of aiims. Patna and become south. Bypass of Patna then go east ward and cross gangs. River from kacchidargah vidupur bridge.
That means. Passes through. Aurangabad , Arwal , Patna district .
Aurangabad , Arwal also. Connected. To Patna by four lane.
This road should be start from Deo More in Aurangabad district then straight. North and meet. SH 78 in Patna district near janipur villege , South. Of AIIMS. Patna .
Then by this road Aurangabad, Arwal , Jahanabad, as well as Gaya connected to Bihata Air Port , JP bridge on Ganga River , Sonepur , AIIMS. ..
Then this road will be mile stone for Magadh .
