The Bihar Government has extended the tenure of existing BSEB Chairman, IAS Anand Kishor for three more years. On 01/09/2020, The Additional Secretary of Education Department, Girivar Dayal Singh had issued a notification about the same. As per the notification, IAS Anand Kishor is appointed for the post of Bihar School Examination Board Chairman for three more years and his next tenure starts from September 25, 2020.
Back on September 1, 2018, Anand Kishor took charge as the full-time chairman of Bihar School Examination Board and now after two years the state government has extended his tenure for three more years.
The state government has restructured the Bihar School Examination Board for three more years and released a notification about the same yesterday. The next tenure of this Eight Member Examination Board starts from September 25. Below are some names of this eight-member examination board.
- Maulana Mazharul Haque, Ex-Officio Director of Secondary Education
- Prof. Khalid Mirza, The Vice Chancellor of Arabic-Persian University
- Prof. Ranjit Kumar Verma, The Chancellor of Munger University
- Principal Pramila Kumari, Government Teachers Training College Samastipur
- Ram Kumar Mandal, The Controller of Examinations (Bihar Public Service Commission, Patna and Patna University)
