This Tuesday in a cabinet meeting held under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar decided to increase the sand settlement amount by 50%. Also, the current Sand Settlement Period is expiring on December 30, 2020 which the government has extended till March 31, 2021.

The Affiliation of Colleges and Schools have been extended by One Year

In the same cabinet meeting, it is also decided to extend the affiliation of 599 aided Intermediate Level Colleges and Middle Schools by one year as their affiliation is expiring on December 31, 2020.

The Principal Secretary said, the aid will be given to these institutions based on the results of the students.

He said, girl students who secure the first rank will get Rs 4700 as the aid whereas girl students who secure the second rank will get Rs 4200 and the third rank get Rs 3700.

Other than girl students, those who secure the first rank will get Rs 4500 and second rank Rs 4000 and the third rank holder will get Rs 3500.
