As you know with the introduction of the existing global pandemic in the country, the schools, colleges and other academic institutions were restricted to conduct offline classes from March this year. However, after seeing the normalcy in the condition, the Central Government has permitted the states to allow academic institutions to conduct the classes again for students.
Following the same, the Bihar Government has now allowed the select senior classes of schools, colleges, and coaching institutions to be conducted offline.
The Bihar Crisis Management Group today has conducted a meeting in which they have decided to allow select classes of Schools, Colleges, and Coaching Institutions in Bihar to open from January 4 next year.
The Chief Secretary, Deepak Kumar said, at first students of Class 9th to 12th will be allowed to go to school. After 15 days we will again review the situation and if everything goes smooth then we may allow the students below class 9th to go to their school. For now, from January 4 next year, Class 9th to 12th students are allowed to go to their school.
So this is about Schools. For Colleges, only the classes of final year students are allowed to be conducted offline. Classes below final year may be allowed to be conducted offline but after 15 days from January 4, 2021.
The Coaching Institutes can also conduct classes for 9th to 12th students (for schools)and final year students (for colleges) as reported by live hindustan.
