This Tuesday, the Bihar University Affliation Committee conducts a meeting in which the proposal to open three new pharmacy colleges on the campus of Bihar University was passed. Now the university will soon write a letter to the government and the Raj Bhavan about this.

Apart from this, 12 finance-free colleges were also discussed for affiliation with B.Pharma course. These colleges have got NOC.

A proposal to give affiliation to 30 other general colleges and 3 B.Ed. colleges was also passed.

The meeting also discussed the opening of an agricultural college at Bhagwanpur in Vaishali. The College of Agriculture has already got NOC from Bihar University.

The Affliation Committee was chaired by Prof Hanuman Prasad Pandey, Vice Chancellor of Bihar University.

Inspector of College, Prof. Pramod Kumar stated that the proposal to open new colleges in the university has been taken under the new education policy.

The University will soon start new Paramedical Courses

Yesterday, the Implementation and Monitoring Cell of Bihar University also met under the chairmanship of University Vice Chancellor Prof Hanuman Prasad Pandey, in which new paramedical courses, LLM courses, and PG journalism courses were passed. Now it will be sent to Raj Bhavan to pass these courses in the university. Apart from this, it was decided in the meeting that children will not be charged for vocational course till June.

Below are the names of the new paramedical courses that will soon be included in the university are as follows.

  1. MSc Nursing
  2. Post Basic BSc Nursing
  3. Bachelor of Physiotherapy
  4. Bachelor of Science Optometry
  5. Bachelor of Science in Radiological and Image Technique
  6. Bachelor of Science in Operation Theatre and Technology
  7. Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory and Technology

MJMC courses will be opened in colleges after inspection of University Vice Chancellor

Regarding the commencement of MJMC and BCA courses in many colleges of the city, the Vice Chancellor said that these courses will be started in colleges only after their inspection.
