Bihar is all set to open a dedicated exclusive university for fine arts and music. For the same, the state government is in process of sanctioning Rs. 300 crore.
In a report to NDTV, Neetu Kumari Nutan, a noted musician who was invited in a meeting last week chaired under the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Tarkishor Prasad.
As per Miss Nutan, in the upcoming state budget that is scheduled before assembly on February 22, a proposal to build the Kala Vishwavidyalaya in the state would be emerged.
Miss Nutan, who is a doctorate in music told, last year also she was invited in a pre-budget meeting held under the chairmanship of the then Deputy Chief Minister of the State, Sushil Modi, and there she proposed to set up a Kala Vishwavidyalaya in the state. Seems like her proposal is now picking up the pace as the government has given in-principal approval of Rs. 300 crore for the same project.
She says, the cultural wealth plays an important role in the development of a country. She thanked the minister of Culture and Tourism, Mangal Pandey and Jivesh Kumar and others who supported her to bring this project on the ground.
