Muzaffarpur Sewage Treatment Plant Tender Release Next Week

Back in December last year, we told you, Muzaffarpur to soon get Sewage Treatment Plant to filter dirty water coming from the city to enter in the Budhi Gandak River.

Also, In January this year, we told you about the Beautification of Sikandarpur Man.

The Tender for both these projects is reportedly going to release next week. Earlier it was planned to release the tender of both these projects separately but now for some reason the tender for both these projects will be released simultaneously. A total of Rs. 400 crores are said to be allotted to complete both these projects. Out of these 400 Crore rupees, 160 crore rupees is said to allotted for the beautification of Sikandarpur Man and the remaining 240 crore rupee is for the Sewage Treatment Plant Project.

In the selected 1210 acres of Smart City Area, the length of drainage will be 121 km long and sewage length is said to be of 88 km long. The sewage treatment plant is said to be built in the vacant land of PHD.
