Bihar imposes 11 days of Lockdown in the state till May 15, 2021

As soon as the second wave of COVID-19 hits our country, the Bihar state government imposed a lockdown back in between May 5 to May 15 which was extended till May 25.

Now, as the timeline is expiring yesterday, the Chief Minister of Bihar conducted a review meeting with his ministers to decide whether to extend the lockdown or to open it.

Well, after the completion of the review meeting, it is said, due to the three weeks lockdown that was imposed since May 5, COVID-19 cases in Bihar has been tailed off. However, still there is a considerable number of active COVID patients in the state. Seeing the same, it has been decided to extend the lockdown in the state for one more week i.e., till June 1, 2021.

So, now, the lockdown in Bihar has been extended till June 1, 2021.

Amid all this, the state education minister, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary has reportedly said, Bihar is currently not in favor of organizing the Class 12th CBSE board exam. We will later decide for the same.
