Bihar imposes 11 days of Lockdown in the state till May 15, 2021

Today via his official Twitter handle, the state chief minister Nitish Kumar announced that due to the lockdown imposed in the state back from May 5 to May 15, the cases of COVID-19 in the state is decreasing. Seeing the same, we have decided to extend the lockdown in the state for 10 more days i.e. till May 25, 2021.

As per the new guidelines, the time to open vegetable and other shops in the urban areas of the state has been reduced to 6 am to 10 am whereas in rural areas the time for the same is now 8 am to 12 noon. Earlier the time to open the shops in the state was between 6 am to 11 am.

Seeing the season of planting Kharif crops, the state government has allowed seed shops present in the state to open for the respective four hours in the morning on Monday and Friday. Apart from that, shops selling construction and hardware materials are allowed to open between 6 am to 10 am on Monday and Thursday.
