On Saturday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reviewed the implementation of Bihar Right to Public Services Act and Bihar Public Grievance Redressal Act through video conferencing.
During the video conferencing, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that under the Bihar Right to Public Services Act, centers have been set up at the district, sub-division, and block level to provide services to the people. Earlier, people used to take a lot of time and expense to get the certificate but after the coming of the Bihar Right to Public Services Act, applicants get the services within a certain time.
The Chief Minister informed that so far 25 crore applicants have availed benefits under the Bihar Right to Public Services Act.
Apart from this, Bihar Public Grievance Redressal Rights Act was introduced on 5th June 2016. This law was brought in to listen to the grievances of the people and find a solution.
In the video conferencing held on Saturday, the Chief Minister ordered all the officers to bring public utility services of all the departments on one platform. So that people can get to know about more and more facilities and they can take advantage of them.
For those of you who do not know, tell them that an online website already exists in Bihar for the right to public services, which is currently providing 52 types of services.
