According to the Bihar Meteorological Department, this year’s monsoon can reach Bihar on June 15.
The Meteorological Department says that on June 15, the southwest monsoon will first reach Bengal, then Jharkhand, then Odisha and finally Bihar.
In a conversation with the Press Trust of India, Rajendra Jenamani of the National Weather Forecasting Center told that by June 11, a low pressure area will form in the Bay of Bengal, due to which Odisha, Jharkhand, some parts of Bengal, and Bihar will be affected by this year’s Monsoon by June 15.
The Meteorological Department has also predicted that due to the knocking of monsoon in the country, the country will not face any kind of heatwave for the coming five days.
The India Meteorological Department said that at present, the Southwest Monsoon has entered some parts of Arabian Sea, off the coast of Karnataka, in Goa, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and some parts of Bay of Bengal.
This year Bihar did not feel as much heat due to the effect of Cyclone Yaas.
