Muzaffarpur recently has installed 49 Agricultural Feeder
In order to irrigate the land, the state government is providing electricity to the farmers at a low cost via dedicated feeders.
In recent days, Muzaffarpur has installed 49 dedicated agricultural feeders for electricity.
Soon, Mukhyamantri Krishi Vidyut Sambandh Nischay Yojana will start that will provide free electricity to 1920 farmers in the state. However, they have to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. For example, they must have done boring in advance otherwise their application will be rejected. Interested farmers will apply for Mukhyamantri Krishi Vidyut Sambandh Nischay Yojana by visiting their nearest electricity office.
An official from the electricity department has said, the construction of dedicated agricultural feeders is at its pace. We will get more of such feeders from the ongoing constructed power substations too.
