In today’s cabinet meeting, the state CM approved 12 agendas. Darbhanga Airport expansion is one of those agendas.
If you remember, back in August this year, the Civil Aviation Minister, Mr. Jyotiraditya Schindia wrote a letter to the state CM Nitish Kumar. In that letter, Mr. Schindia demanded 78 acres of land to develop another civil enclave and install CAT-1 approach light system in Darbhanga airport.
Well, in today’s cabinet meeting, the state CM has reportedly approved Rs. 3,36,76,18,560 (from state budget) to acquire the required 78 acres of land for Darbhanga Airport expansion.
So, what does it mean for Darbhanga Airport. Well, when the Airport gets the required land, another civil enclave and CAT-1 approach light system will be built in it. That means, more flights will land and take off from the Airport. Let’s see how it goes. As usual, we will update you about the same as early as possible but you have to subscribe us.
