Back in August this year, the state government increases the dearness allowance of its employees from 17 percent to 28 percent.
While so far, the state government employees are happy to get a 28 percent dearness allowance effecting from July 1, 2021, on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the state government has increased their employee’s dearness allowance from 28 percent to 31 percent.
That means, from July 1, 2021, around 8 lakh Bihar Government employees including pensioners will get a 31 percent dearness allowance.
The decision was made in yesterday’s cabinet meeting where the state CM Nitish Kumar has approved a total of 23 agendas.
Here are some important agendas that have been approved in yesterday’s cabinet meeting.
Bihar Government Approved 200 Acres of Land for Darbhanga AIIMS
In yesterday’s cabinet meeting, the state government has approved alloting 200 acres of land to the Center for constructing Darbhanga AIIMS. This 200 acres of land is present on the Darbhanga Medical College campus. Now, since the land has been allotted to the central government, the process to construct Darbhanga AIIMS will soon initiate.
Once the hospital will be constructed, patients will visit it not from Bihar only but also from Bengal and Nepal. Also, it will open doors for new job opportunities in Darbhanga.
Rs 1749 crore approved for the salary of teachers
In yesterday’s cabinet meeting, the state government has released the due salary of teachers working under Samagra Siksha in state government elementary schools.
