To complete the second phase of land survey in 18 districts, the Bihar Revenue and Land Reform Department is going to recruit for 2247 posts.
In Bihar, the first phase of the land survey is currently going on in 20 districts.
To complete the first survey, the department recruited more than 6000 staff whose posts are Assistant Settlement Officer, Special Survey Kanungo, Special Survey Amin, and Special Survey Clerk.
All these staffs were recruited on a contract basis.
Hence, the department terminates some of them (for some reason) after they complete their work period.
As I said above, the department has already started the first phase of the survey in 20 districts.
The survey work in the remaining 18 districts will start this year.
To complete the second survey, the department found a shortage of staffs.
Hence, decided to recruit for 2247 staffs of different categories mentioned below.
- Assistant Settlement Officer – 64
- Kanungo – 214
- Survey Amin – 1686
- Clerk – 210
- Contract Amin – 73
The Directorate of Land Records and Survey will be responsible to fill out these posts
The department has given the responsibility to recruit for these posts to the Directorate of Land Records and Survey Department of Bihar.
The directorate will soon start accepting online applications for these posts sometime this year.
Not just filling out the application form, the whole recruitment process will be online as that will resolute complete transparency.
The department will select the candidates, on the basis of their marks.
